Archiving the Peripatetic Collection of Film & Video is a residency project by Carola Spadoni supported by the Italian Council program (9th Edition, 2020), Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity, Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism.
This website was conceived as part of the residency project at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin in 2021 (read more).
in a Cultural Partnership with La Camera Ottica of the Department of Humanities and Cultural Heritage – DIUM University of Udine for the restoration and digitalization of the footage.

TPF&VA website is the base of the archive. It expands through the ongoing commoning of the collection uploading footage, texts, cartographies. TPF&VA manifests into installations, lectures, workshops, collaborations, publications, film & video works, gatherings. Based on footage shot since the end of the 1980s by artist and filmmaker Carola Spadoni. Shooting was done as a commitment based on chance, observation, relation, desire, trust, contemplation, context.

Film & Video Works | Produced works. Look into works made out of material from TPF&VA to understand the process of selecting and editing footage for a given issue, discourse, story, resonance. A practice of up cycling moving images and dealing with their ghostly matters.
